Studio Etiquette
Arrive early. Our doors open 15 minutes before the start of class time and lock promptly at the scheduled start time. Late admittance to class is not permitted. Ensure a speedy check-in by preregistering for class online via MindBody. Available class spots are opened up to waiting students at the start of class time.
Remove your shoes. Before entering either studio room, remove your shoes and place them in the student cubbies. Both locations are shoe-free and phone-free environments.
Disconnect from electronics. Place your belongings, including your cellphone, in the cubbies next to the studio door. Check to see that all ringers are silenced before making your way to your mat. Phones are not permitted in the yoga rooms, and no exceptions are made.
Place your mat behind one of our mat markers. Regardless of the number of students in class, we ask that you line your mat up behind one of the mat stickers on the floor. Should you set up incorrectly, no worries. Your instructor will show you how to place your mat in a designated space.
Practice Ahimsa. "Ahimsa" is the Sanskrit word for non-harming. Practice Ahimsa by taking care of the yoga space. Keep the studios, bathroom, changing area, and cubbies clean and safe for the rest of the community. Refrain from talking during class. So as to not disrupt your fellow yogis, be prepared stay for the entire class.
